Misbahi Welfare Mission (MWM) is planning to construct a state-of-the-art community orphanage near Bharuch, India (Gujarat) to support the local area.
The Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said: Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this, and he held his two fingers together [al-Bukhari 5659].
Looking after orphans is considered an extremely virtuous activity and has been encouraged greatly in Islam. We want there to be an orphanage to take care of orphans in our community to give them the best chance at succeeding in life. We believe there is a strong need for such a project in the local area as many Muslim orphans have no one to look after them or assist them.
A very generous Muslim has donated to us 4 acres of land which is situated between Nabipur & Asuria on National Highway No. 8 (Gujarat). Our plan with this land is to carry out construction of various buildings in multiple phases and steps. Step one is to construct an orphanage. Thereafter, over the years we will continue to build various buildings on this land to create a unique campus.
The prospective plan for the campus includes: orphanage, academic institute for boys (darul uloom), hospital, school, Masjid, staff quarters, 2 hostels, and an assembly hall. Currently, building and structural plans are being drafted which will be shared once they are ready.
The orphanage will be called ‘Chishtiyah Orphanage’ as homage to the great Khwaja Gahrib Nawaz, who enlightened the hearts of millions in India.
